Cre ator of Undertale & Deltarune Writer/Composer/Director/Designer/Programmer Toby Fox has had a significant impact on the world of gaming. He created a new dialog surrounding how players interact with games and popularized metatextual storytelling. Fox was inspired by other games such as Yume Nikki, The Mother Series (AKA: Earthbound), and a plethora of mods for RPGs. One of his first projects he worked on was for Earthbound creatively named "The Halloween Hack" which boosted his visibility on various forums. Fox is a more reserved person on the internet due to the popularity Undertale. A good amount of the praise Undertale gained was from the way it portrays different identities. There are underlying transgender themes with one of the characters and multiple types of relationships such as straight, gay, and lesbian couples.
